Dr. Boma Douglas

Dr. Boma Douglas is the Chairman of the Central Association of Nigerians in the United Kingdom CANUK and a Trustee of the Engineering Forum of Nigerians EFN UK. He is a Chartered Energy Engineer registered with the Engineering Council of the United Kingdom. He was a member of the Governing Council of the Energy Institute and a past Chair of the EI, London & Home Counties Branch. Dr. Douglas is on the Membership Panel and Accreditation Team of the Energy Institute. He is the immediate past President of the Engineering Forum of Nigerians [EFN].

Dr. Boma Douglas has a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Environmental Engineering from South Bank University London, He has an MSc in Environmental Engineering with a dissertation on Application of Solar Energy in the tropics.  He is also a Civil and Structural Engineer with vast experience in the design and supervision of construction works covering buildings and roads [rigid and flexible pavements].

His interests are Waste to Energy, Water Desalination, and Renewable Technologies.  He has worked with governmental organisations and large corporate consultancies in the United Kingdom. He is an expert in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Technology.  Dr. Douglas is now an independent Energy Adviser on Carbon Reduction Commitment.

He is a Patron of Nollywood Entertainment Ltd UK ZAFFA and the Voice of Hope Foundation.  He was also the President of the London Tari Club a social and philanthropic organisation.  He is married to Mrs. June Douglas the CEO of Pamela Douglas Foundation Worldwide.
